SWS work through four stages to ensure that your new warehouse management software integrates seamlessly with your company’s existing computer systems and your staff are happy, comfortable and effective using the product.
Stage 1: Consultancy
An SWS consultant will visit your premises to survey your warehouse and establish your requirements. A system specification will be provided to ensure we understand your needs. We ensure the system is right from the start rather than making costly changes following installation.
Stage 2: Quotation
Once you are happy with your specification, we will produce a quotation and realistic timescales for implementation. There may be specific changes required so the SWS software matches your working practices, e.g. the use of check digits or bar-code scanners. This is expected and is included within your implementation plan and quotation.
Stage 3: Installation
A dedicated project manager will be assigned to you and, ideally, you should provide one or two contact persons within your organisation. One from Operations and one from IT often works best. All parties will work together to ensure smooth installation and integration with existing systems.
Stage 4: Training
Staff training is vitally important to the ongoing success of your warehouse manangement system. Training is included with all implementation plans and detailed within your quotation.
